With schools, daycares and libraries closing down due to the pandemic, many kids lacked access to books and reading activities last summer. This meant they were missing out on the joy of escaping into a book and the important opportunity to keep learning. Read On Canada! was created to help.

We are a group of reading advocates working with Food Banks Canada. Together, we put more than 130,000 children's books into the hands of kids over the summer. We also put lots of fun and enriching digital activities right here on this website, which you can find below!
