The Canadian Children's Literacy Foundation is currently hiring for the following position(s):

Program Manager (10-Month Contract) (PDF)

Description: Reporting to and working closely with the Vice President, Programs, the Program Manager will be responsible for managing a group of partners and overseeing contracts with vendors for the In My Words: Children in Canada Share Their COVID-19 Pandemic Stories project. The Program Manager will ensure project objectives are met and will act as the main point of contact for needs related to the project deliverables.

Program Support Specialist (PDF)

Description: CCLF is seeking a Program Support Specialist to support the growth of the Early Words/Premiers mots program, and mediums best suited to reach families across Canada, including in First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. Working alongside members of the Programs team and reporting to a Senior Program Manager and/or VP, Programs, this individual will play a pivotal role in developing a shared understanding of the firsthand experiences, practices, and knowledge of how families support their children’s literacy skills development, as well as the barriers that they face in doing so. The ideal candidate will have experience facilitating and/or delivering community programming.

Program Support Specialist - Bilingual, Full-time (PDF)

Description: Working closely with all members of the Programs team and reporting to a Senior Program Manager and/or VP, Programs, the Program Support Specialist will be responsible for research and supporting multi-city consultations across Canada, with the goal of program expansion, resource development, advocacy and knowledge sharing within the literacy sector. This role will focus on expansion of the Early Words/Premier mots program into French Canada, and/or Official language minority, First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities.

Program Support Specialist, Indigenous Communities (PDF)

Description: Working closely with all members of the Programs team and reporting to a Senior Program Manager and/or VP, Programs, the Program Support Specialist will focus on expansion of the Early Words/Premier mots program into First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing an understanding of the firsthand experiences, practices, and knowledge of how families from vulnerable communities support their children’s literacy skills development, as well as the barriers that they face.
